Description
The Republic of Turkey Electronic **** (e-****) is the official digital travel authorization issued by the Government of Turkey for short-term visits. Foreign nationals may obtain their Turkey e-**** exclusively through the Turkish Immigration Portal or authorized e-service providers. This streamlined online process eliminates the need for embassy visits while maintaining strict security standards in accordance with Turkish immigration laws.
The Turkish e-**** system permits tourism, business meetings, and transit stays for eligible passport holders. Approved applicants may enter Turkey for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. It remains the traveler's responsibility to ensure their e-**** for Turkey remains valid for the entire duration of stay, as overstays are subject to fines and potential entry bans.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that the Turkey e-**** cannot be extended or converted to other **** types within the country. All visitors must present their approved electronic **** alongside a passport valid for at least six months upon arrival. For official information and application, travelers must use only the government-authorized website to avoid fraudulent schemes.
